The music of Erik Emil Eskildsen (eee) is not something that naturally would be played on the radio. Which is a shame, and also a good thing (Art!). His music takes time to listen to, and it also needs repetition and intensive listening. I stumbled upon eee via Markus Reuter - both of them play Touch Guitars, an invention by Markus. A recent addition to my home studio is the Behringer XR18 digital stage box mixer. It has replaced an old Yamaha mixer. The main feature of it is that it has none of the wonderful faders and buttons. Instead, the mixer is controlled via apps, either from a computer or a tablet or phone. While researching mixers I came across a video on Setting up a Channel on a Behringer XR 18 - YouTube. Even though it shows the Behringer interface, the general principles shown should transfer to any mixer. I learnt quite a lot about configuring a channel. ...

Crystal Caves is a concept album I have been thinking off for over a year and started to work on for earnest in late 2018. It is a reflection on my state of mind, as experienced through therapy. I went through a dark phase in my life in late 2016 that led to a form of burn-out. I was lucky to get to meet a wonderful therapist, who helped me work on finding my way back. Ambient Explorations is a series of four instant composition pieces. The only instrument used is an electric guitar, that is routed through a complex labyrinth of effects (mainly delays).
